What is the NarcDone program ? |
- Treatment for *opioid dependence, both detox and ongoing treatment
- Outpatient treatment, based in the private office of a physician specially certified for opioid treatment . A unique maintenance (ongoing treatment) program is key to your long-term success and is the primary difference between NarcDone and other "rapid treatment programs."
- Focus upon compassionate treatment to alleviate the pain and suffering of opioid withdrawal
- Emphasis
upon return to normal activities as soon as possible, most often within 1-3 days after starting treatment
- Minimal impact upon your work performance and personal life
- Use of buprenorphine (Subutex/Suboxone) to greatly enhance success rates as well as relieve withdrawal, craving, compulsions and drug seeking behavior.

How do I determine if I am a person who can benefit from the NarcDone program ? |
- Any person who is adversely affected by their consumption of opioid drugs (almost all prescription pain killers such as Vicodin, Oxycontin, Hydrocodone, Percocet, Percodan, Anexsia, Lortab, Demerol, Fentanyl, Morphine, Methadone, Heroin, etc.)
- Any person who is motivated to try and improve the quality of their life by eliminating their dependence upon opioid drugs.
- Persons who are currently employed or seeking employment and want to enhance their chances of keeping or procuring employment.
- Any person who is aware of the illegal nature of their drug use and desires to avoid the negative consequences of their drug use.
- Any person facing drug testing. The legal use of buprenorphine under physician supervision will alleviate the consequences of an illicit positive opioid drug test.

What are the main differences between the NarcDone program and other drug treatment programs ? |
- No bias against use of medications in the treatment of opioid withdrawal and maintenance
- Cost is far less than typical “in- patient” programs
- Ability to continue working, thereby avoiding the financial hardship posed by missing work
- Treatment programs formulated by the experience of certified professionals working with real patients to maximize success and minimize side effects.
