Frequently Asked Questions

At NarcDone we specialize in treating addiction or dependency relating to opioid prescription medications. These medications include Vicodin, hydrocodone, oxycontin, percodan, percocet, lortab, morphine, Demerol and methadone, amongst others.

How much time is required for NarcDone treatment ?
In most cases a single visit to the specialist physicians office is sufficient. You will be thoroughly evaluated and given our unique combination of prescription medications to successfully transition from harmful opioids to our safe and legal recovery program.

Why is the NarcDone program longer than other treatment programs ?
Most programs that utilize buprenorphine follow a schedule of decreasing the dose over 6-8 weeks, after which the medication is stopped. Our patients have found buprenorphine very helpful, but many return to using opiates once it is discontinued. A key difference in our program is continuing the buprenorphine until the brain chemistry has had a chance to completely reset itself to a more normal pattern. Often, this can take  1-2 years.

  Is medication covered ?
Medication is not covered in the cost of the NarcDone program. You must check with your insurance provider to determine what will or will not be covered. We will provide documentation to help you with receiving reimbursement from your insurance, but that is completely under their control.

  Does NarcDone Accept Insurance ?
NarcDone does not accept any insurance. We accept cash and most credit cards. The documentation we provide will help you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. The insurance company wants to save money by avoiding any future treatment.

Is there any financing available ?
We have worked with-----, to provide financing for your treatment. You can receive treatment without devastating your finances.

Why can’t I go to a doctor who charges less than NarcDone ?
The reality is that most doctors will not provide the same medication to ensure a successful outcome. Their experience is inadequate to provide a smooth transition for the person who is trying to put their life in a positive position. Their practice is not specifically organized to accommodate the problems you will encounter.

How can I ensure that my NarcDone providers will meet my needs ?
There is no insurance or third party provider to interfere with your treatment. We work for you. Every part of our treatment is performed specifically to allow you to succeed. If you encounter any problems, there is always a trained professional available to you 24 hours per day.We utilize the experience of each previous patient to improve your treatment and make the process as simple as possible.

Who will pay for my medication ?
Most medications will be covered by your insurance, but you should always contact your insurer directly to determine what benefits you are entitled to. At NarcDone we have prepared documentation for you to provide the insurance company. This documentation will increase the likelihood of being reimbursed for the cost of medications.
